The National Lacrosse League (NLL) was founded in 1986 and is the world's premier box lacrosse league comprised of teams across the US and Canada. The season traditionally starts in December and runs through April with the Playoffs (usually consisting of eight teams) beginning in May

Box lacrosse is a modern version of the game of lacrosse that was invented in Canada during the 1920s and 1930s. The roots of indoor lacrosse are obscure, but its invention has been attributed to Paddy Brennan, a field lacrosse player and referee from Montreal, who, annoyed by the constant slowing of play from balls going out of bounds in the field game, experimented with indoor games at the Mount Royal Arena during the early 1920s. The form was also adopted as the primary version of the game played on Native American reservations in the US and Canada by Iroquois and other Native peoples. It is the only sport in which the American indigenous people, participating as the Iroquois Nationals, are sanctioned to compete internationally. Box lacrosse is played inside the confines of an ice hockey rink, with glass and rink boards intact. The playing surface consists of a green dieter turf carpet that is laid down over the hockey ice.

Lacrosse is a traditional indigenous people’s game and was first encountered by Europeans when French Jesuit missionaries in the St. Lawrence Valley witnessed the game in the 1630s. For centuries, lacrosse was seen as a key element of cultural identity and spiritual healing to Native Americans.

There are 15 teams in the NLL: Albany FireWolves, Buffalo Bandits, Calgary Roughnecks, Colorado Mammoth, Georgia Swarm, Halifax Thunderbirds, New York Riptide, Panther City Lacrosse Club (based in Fort Worth, TX), Philadelphia Wings, Rochester Knighthawks, San Diego Seals, Saskatchewan Rush, Toronto Rock, Vancouver Warriors -- and the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.

Each game consists of four fifteen-minute quarters. A tie at the end of regulation is decided in sudden-victory overtime. Each team has five runners (forwards, transition players, and defensemen) and a goaltender on the floor during the game. Each team dresses 19 players (17 runners and two goaltenders) per game, and the players rotate on and off the floor in shifts, similar to ice hockey. Box lacrosse is played inside the confines of an ice hockey rink, with glass and rink boards intact. The playing surface consists of a green dieter turf carpet that is laid down over the hockey ice. Combined, teams score an average of 25 goals a game in an NLL game.

The Desert Dogs will play at Michelob ULTRA Arena located inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The season starts on Dec. 1, 2023 at home at 7 p.m. and goes through April. There are 9 home games + 9 away games.

Each National Lacrosse League team plays 18 games – 9 home games + 9 away games.

You have two options: - Make sure everyone enters together. Show the tickets on your phone for everyone in your group. OR - Transfer tickets to guests. If you're not arriving as a group, you can transfer tickets to guests straight from your AXS account. Then your guests can get in with their own phones using the AXS app.

A ticket transfer allows you to digitally send each guest in your party their own Mobile ID and use the AXS app for entry. With seat transfers, you no longer have to worry about delivering the paper tickets to them in advance or meeting guests before the event to walk in together. Here's how it works: 1. Click the Transfer button next to the event in your AXS account. 2. Select the tickets to transfer and enter the recipient's information. 3. On the review page, click the Transfer button to sent the tickets. The recipient will get an email about the transfer, and they'll need to creat an AXS account (if they dont have one yet) to complete the transfer. After that, the tickets will be theirs to use with the AXS app.

No, there is no fee for transferring seats.

Review your transfer history within the AXS app by clicking on MY EVENTS and selecting TRANSFERRED. You may also review your transfers and purchase history at AXS.com.

If you already have an AXS account, the tickets will be transferred to your account automatically. Otherwise, you'll get an email letting you know you need to create at AXS account to claim the tickets. Just follow the simple steps to make the tickets officially yours.

No. Once you have an account, seats transferred to you will be accepted by your account automatically (no need to accept them manually).

Yes! They'll just have to create an AXS account to claim their tickets. They'll also need to get the AXS app when it's time for the event, they can open the app to show their tickets on their phone.

It depends. If your recipient already has an AXS account, the tickets will be transferred instantaneously. Otherwise you have until your recipient creates an account and accepts the transfer to cancel the transfer. Remember, your recipient can always transfer tickets back to you.
